This person  is ANGRY!!!!  Wish I were the one who sent this to the beloved Senator!!!! There isn't a word that is false and I am believing that many Americans are beginning to think along these same lines.......

   Hey Alan, 

   Let’s get a few things straight:

    1.      As a career politician, you have been on the public dole for FIFTY YEARS!

   2.      I have  been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old.  I am now 63)

   3.      My Social  Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thus bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud

   4.      Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission is proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN!! 

   5.      I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the game. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills

   6.       I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately that you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay YOUR debt!

   To add insult to injury, you label us greedy for calling bullshit on your incompetence. Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions for YOU:

   1.       How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during your pathetic 50-year political career?

   2.       At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career, and how much are you receiving in annual retirement  benefits from the American taxpayers?

   3.       How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?

   4.      What cuts in YOUR retirement and health care benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?

   It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators who are greedy. It is you and they who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes. That’s right, sir. You and yours have  bankrupted America for the sole purpose of advancing your  pathetic political careers. You know it, we know it, and you know that we know it.

HARSHER SENTENCING NOT GUN CONTROL

Over the past week since the horrible tragedy in Arizona more and more people again are blaming the Republican and the NRA for the violent acts of a MAD MAN.

Truth be told the state of Arizona had deemed Jared Loughner as mentally unstable and not fit to purchase  a firearm.  However records show that someone did not put this information in the state's data base and as a result the information was not available to prevent this tragedy.

The fact that this individual passed a "FBI and DHS" background check only proves that this individual did not have a criminal record!  Had the paper work that was done by Arizona been put into the system determining mental fitness the system would have worked! The person who failed to do their duties should be tracked down and tried for involuntary manslaughter and dereliction of duties.

Gun control is not the solution to the problems.  The solution is putting in place laws that impose harsher punishment and sentencing for those who commit crimes.  The American Justice system is over burdened and the system is breaking down! What we need to do is demand imposing the death penalty and public executions.  Stop allowing repeat offenders and once and for all stop making life in jail for some better than life on the streets!

We as a nation spend on average $28K per prisoner to be housed, fed and provided medical care.  I say it is time that we become more competitive as a nation and start utilizing these prisoners to perform work to support them making prisons self sufficient. Prisons need to provide training programs to teach things like agriculture, wood, metal, plumbing and electrical skills.  Food should be grown on the premises and inmate performs duties such as manufacturing good and services to pay their incarceration.

Those who have been found guilty of murder, kidnapping rape and violent offenses that are given life sentences and have been denied appeals should be put to the gallows! The death penalty and use of the death penalty is a tremendous deterrent!

GETTING BACK TO BEING #1 AGAIN

There is no question in any American's mind that we have hit an all time low.  As such we have turned to our lack luster leaders for hope, guidance and direction and have been ignored as they lack the intelligence to turn this mess around.  So what can we do as Americans to get things going. The following is a list of things we need to do as Americans to restore our great nation.

1. Vote and Stay Vocal! It is essential to vote out of office those who do not support their constituents, those who lack vision and those who are only serving their self serving interests!

2. Buy American! We used to be a nation of manufacturers.  Now a days it is almost impossible to find any thing made in America.  It is time to call, write companies demanding that they manufacture their goods here in the U.S.

3. Boycott Imports.. Supporting #2 It is high time we put American back to work we can do so by  boycotting  the purchasing of imported products and demand domestic good and services.

4. TAKE INITIATIVES TO GO GREEN..There are approximately 11 million jobs that can be created tomorrow if we as a nation took the approach of becoming independent of imported oil and went completely green.  Recycle, Recycle, Recycle! Look for alternative means to heat and cool your house such as wind, solar, increased insulation etc. If we as a nation were completely independent of oil and its importation using hydrogen cars or synthetic fuels for our cars and energy needs we would have increased our personal wealth and savings by ONE THOUSAND TIMES!

5. Demand a Higher Standard! Our schools, products, services etc are all mediocre. We have become a nation that has accepted very low standards, and inferior goods and services out of convenience and cheapness. It is time that we as a nation demand more from the companies we purchase goods/services from as well as demand better schooling of our nations children.

6. Help Increase Education! This country's public schools are on the decline.  Schools will tell you it is because of budget cuts.. I say that's crap. Children in the 1800 and 1900s were smarter than our kids today with access to less materials than we have at our finger tips today.  Schools don't teach they have become an environment of nurturing cattle.  We need to encourage creativity by bringing back teachers who are excited about teaching. We need to focus on math, science, geography and raise our standards. Our children need to be smarter, more resourceful and creative if we are to compete on a global economy!

7. Spend Quality Time with Your Kids and Family!. bring back family values and quality time spent as a family. Put away the Xbox and computer games and focus on increased awareness through quality time spent with your family by reading, do math and science quizzes go to museums, places that are educational.

8. Lastly and most importantly. MAKE EVERY EFFORT NOT TO GIVE UP! It is easy to say what difference can one person make and simply give up.  But if you make efforts to change and teach your children, family and work colleagues pretty soon they start doing the same and before you know it more and more people are on the same page.  This is how you effect change!

If we as a nation realize once and for all  that our elected leaders don't know what they are doing and we start to take control our selves the faster we can rebuild our nation once again!

The Audacity & Nerve For Change Let Alone Hope

I like tens of millions of Americans have been blessed with being laid off twice in the past two years.  Like millions of others I spend hour after hour trying to find a job in a country where there are none. Every day I get up  and have the privilege to listen to my elected leaders tell us what they know is good for us when what is good for us, is not what is good for them.  Correct me if I am wrong and call me crazy for perhaps believing what our founding fathers wrote and envisioned for us as a nation.. but should there be two sets of rules and two sets of standards when supposedly Thomas Jefferson penned, "That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

So I respectfully ask all you are to think about of the following.. Why is it that you and I work all our lives to hopefully reach the age of sixty five or older to retire. That hopefully we have put enough money away to be able to pay our bills and survive while retired yet a congressman, senator or president can work one term be it 2 years, 4 years or six and be entitled to a life time salary/pension?  Why is it that our elected leaders are exempt from having to pay back student loans, have life time pensions, get to vote themselves a raise and in the end have the nerve to live a standard of life that is miles apart from the very people who elected them to serve and represent.

The Nerve for Hope in the country is gone erased forever if things go unchanged. How can one hope to find a job when our elected leaders in their infinite wisdom have voted to allow all our jobs manufacturing and service jobs to be shipped overseas. What hope can I have for myself or my son to know when I get into my car made from parts built overseas from foreign steel driven on overseas manufactured tires using imported fuel can I hope my life will get better.

What hope can I have to know that if I have a problem with my credit card, bank statement, computer, health insurance or problem with lost luggage that I will be talking to someone ten thousand miles away in India, the Philippines or any where else but the U.S.A. that they are sorry for my difficulties and yet waste my time listening to their outsourced scripts all in all being polite but never accomplishing or resolving anything.  This is the country I  live in and pledge my life to honor and defend?

The time for change has never been at a more decisive moment. It is time to demand term limits for politicians, to eliminate life time pensions for short term service and one set of rule for the public and a separate set for our elected representatives!!!  It is time to boycott credit cards, airlines, insurance companies, computer tech support lines etc. and demand that these jobs and these companies start to bring back customer service, produce a higher standard of quality product and support it with people who live, eat and breathe the air here in the U.S. once in for all!

We are at the highest level of unemployment since the depression. We need to stop passing legislation to allow jobs to be farmed out over seas and start passing legislation which punishes overseas outsourcing while passing tax credits and stimuli for companies to manufacture and provide support jobs here in the good old USA. 

 The time has come to have a heart to heart with the unions and decide what is an honest wage verses losing competitiveness and allowing the job to go abroad. Only we as American can facilitate change by taking a unified and defiant stance! Together we shall boycott importation and demand a locally made product or service as a solution. 

 I ask why when I pick up a bottle of apple juice, or bag of vegetables does it say the contents come from China, Argentina, Brazil, or Chile? Do we not grow apples and produce in this country. Is the solution to our border problem to stop producing food and have it imported?  How can I have hope for the future with such stupidity? 

Obama promised change and has delivered! Things have gone from bad to worse! Our elected officials have created even greater levels of Bipartisan stupidity and our nation is on the verge of collapse.  Together I ask let's create a new party that is neither Democrat or Republican. Let's call it the American Party where every member represents what is right for the people and is representative of the people. Let's create a new party which will demand term limits, stop outsourcing. Let's start a party that will bring back pride in America by rebuilding our nation's infrastructure, eliminating imports on everything from cars, food, clothing, and fuel and bring back something that has not been seen since the 60's  labels stamped in big letters, Made in the USA with Pride and Quality"!

Together formulating such a party puts American politicians and the world on notice,  our citizens are angry and fed up and are taking back our nation with the election of a new party of politicians that are truly representative of our country.  Without such an effort why have the nerve for hope?

CREATING FAIR LEGISLATION FOR ALL

Monday on Fox news they learned that the staffers of Congress family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if other news networks will broadcast it. When you add this to the below, just where will all of it stop?

35 States file lawsuit against the Federal Government

Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention.

This will take less than thirty seconds to read. If you agree, please pass it on.

This is an idea that we should address.

For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop.

If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE?

This past Thursday I flew from Philadelphia to San Diego via San Francisco on United  flight 447.  From the start I knew things would be a disaster. The flight was over booked and delayed.  While boarding a flight attendant with Nazi like behavior demanded that everyone surrender their carry on luggage as there was no longer any room in the overhead compartments. When I asked what about story our bags under our seat I was told not to question him and to surrender my bad. I explained that I had medications with me and that I was not comfortable surrendering my bag. I was told I would comply or face being pulled off the plane and arrest, so I complied.

We boarded and took off an hour late.  Imagine this being a dinner time flight yet all that was offered was the complimentary beverage service. No snacks.. no meals etc for a seven hour flight.  If you wanted any thing else you could purchase said items using only a credit card. Correct me if I am wrong but didn't airlines at one time offer a choice of complimentary meals on almost all flights?

When we arrived at San Francisco, I was told our flight to San Diego had been canceled however they would offer a flight to LAX with free bus service to those wishing to still get to San Diego so I signed up.  I asked as did all others about our baggage and was assured that our bags would be put on our flight to LAX.  Prior to boarding I asked the gate attendant about our bags and again was assured that the bags were already on board the aircraft.  So imagine my dismay when we arrived at LAX and went to the baggage claim only to be told our bags were never loaded on board.

The airline gave us an 800 number to call with the calls being answered in the Philippines and India.  Each of us laughed as we listened to each other's various conversations that were taking place while driving the three hours to San Diego.  Conversations grew heated and there was much yelling when due to language  barriers people repeated themselves for nine, ten and even twelve times.  As each of us called, each of us was told different excuses, told we had to either fly back to San Francisco to claim our bag or drive to LAX. Told that it was our fault that the bags were not  on board to being told that we needed to pay for our bags to be sent to us.  All the while none of us had their bags or in many cases like my own no meds.

I called numerous times to corporate hq and again was not given any one to speak to nor did those I spoke with care.  After 39 hours without my medications I was told that the airline would reimburse me for two days of meds. Yeah good luck getting two days worth of medicine, and what about clothes?   Only after more than 30 calls was I able to get my bags sent to me 36 hours later having missed my conference and being sick as a dog without my meds.  Yet the airline just doesn't care!  I ask you all to call your senators and congressmen and demand a law be passed to provide travelers a Bill of Rights!
