As an American I support the constitution and the right to freedom of religion. What I don't support is anyone coming to this great nation and demanding that we give up the laws that have built this country for their laws of Sharia.
Islam is supposed to be one of great religions of the world and is the fastest growing religion in the 21st century either due to acceptance of its pillars or out of fear, which I don't know.
I am upset that I have a number of friends who are Muslim who do not agree with the radicalization of Islam yet are not comfortable enough to speak out demanding that organizations such as ISIS, Hamas, Hizballah, PLF and PIJ to name a few do speak on their behalf nor on the behalf of any true follower of the Koran.
I truly believe that not until the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, etc. and respected Imans stand up and actively state openly that these people are terrorist and that their actions and beliefs are not that of all Muslims will there ever be a cessation of hostilities.
Until you stand up for yourself and those around you and demand that these people stop saying they speak on your behalf there will always be a problem!

SEARCHING FOR THE NEXT FDR OR RONALD REAGAN
As we enter the fifth day of 2015 I ponder the fate of our nation. When did we become a nation as divided as we were under Lincoln and who will be the next Lincoln, FDR or Reagan who will step up to the plate and rebuild and reunify us as a country?
I cringe when people such as "the Reverend "Al Sharpton, Oprah Winfrey, or Michelle Obama constantly create strife and unrest to promote their self importance to the media especially at the expense of the country and done so deliberately to segregate a nation unified enough to elect a black president not once.... but twice!
The fact is that there were no race issues for African Americans and would argue that another black person could be elected more easily than a Jew. I as a male about to become 50 don't ever think I or more son will ever live to see a Jew elected to hold the office of President. Color is not an issue!
So with that said I worry when will the great division that is destroying us as country be addressed or will it take another 9/11 or Pearl Harbor to reunite us a one, not a country of black verses white or Democrats verses Republicans but as Americans!
Almost two hundred years ago Lincoln wrote "a house divided against itself cannot stand", and today is proof that we need the type of leadership to revitalize the American spirit and rebuild our economy, to stand as a beacon of light against global terrorism and tyranny .
It is time that we demand a candidate not be identified as black or white democrat or republican but rather qualified and American! It is only when we are threatened or push to our extinction as a nation do we arise from the ashes and united to show the world and our fellow country men just how capable we are as a nation.

A 21ST CENTURY GUIDE TO ECONOMICALLY MAINTAINING GLOBAL PRESENCE OF OUR NATION'S NAVY AND MARINE CORPS.
Recently the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy have wasted a tremendous amount of money acquiring the F-35 and the America Class LHAs. The fact is the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter is one of the greatest failures ever produced by Lockheed Martin and quite frankly is an embarrassment to the company, our country and any and all of our allies who also were conned into purchasing this aircraft. However, that's the subject for a whole other future blog. Building ships for the purposes of deploying the F-35 is just insane and the subject at hand!
The America Class LHA is a large amphibious ship that is used to deploy Marines to secure a beachhead and move inland. LHAs differ significantly from LHDs as they lack a well deck. A well deck is used to conduct amphibious operations allowing the use of LCACs and other smaller assault craft/ vehicles to bring equipment and Marines ashore through lowering of the ship's stern and flooding the interior deck.
So image the newest LHAs not having a well deck. Instead, the Marines want to build eleven of these ships for purposes of.... ... Get this... deploying thirty or forty F-35s in a sea control posture or up to 42 helicopters or 22 V22 Osprey to only be able to move troops inland by air.
If this isn't bad enough now you have ships that don't have well decks to land Marines ashore or the other necessary support equipment such as battle tanks, fighting vehicles or other support vehicles. In essence, the USMC wants to use these ships as small aircraft carriers to deploy these truly inferior/ useless F-35 fighter/attack jets.
My recommendation is that the future America Class ships should be discontinued. Instead the blue prints from the Wasp calls should be modified by adding a full length hanger deck, a nine degree angled flight deck, three deck elevators, either two, three of four catapults, arresting gear and be potentially powered by two small nuclear reactors increasing tonnage to 48,000 and 54,000 tons while maintaining their well deck LHD capabilities would result in a successful hybrid ship. Such a hybrid would provide the navy with a small, angled deck nuclear carrier that doubles as an LHD.
Such a ship would for the first time ever allow the United States to successfully provide both true aviation and amphibious capabilities to any region in a global crisis with a full Marine Expeditionary Unit, and a complete carrier air wing in support.
The ships would be able to carry two or three squadrons of F/A18 Super Hornets, four EA18s, two E2C Hawkeyes, two C2s, as well as the necessary mixed complement of helicopters such as CH-46, CH-53s, SH-60s and AH1 Sea Cobras and V22 Osprey; for a total complement of up to fifty to sixty aircraft. In addition, maintain LHD capabilities to accommodate 1800 fully equipped Marines, 20 MBTs and other support vehicles.
The reality is that the world has far more hot spots than ever before and we only have 10 Nimitz Class Carriers which were more than $5.5 Billion each. The new Ford class carriers are almost $13B a piece Bottom line with only 10 nuclear carriers serving we do not have the luxury or money to God forbid lose any in a crisis.
Most recently the navy used a Wasp Class LHD (has a well deck) and its twenty harriers to serve as a small carrier in a sea control posture in support of operations in Libya. The reality is that if the situation got hot twenty harriers would not, I repeat twenty harriers would not have been enough aircraft to provide sufficient air power to obtain air superiority.
In addition, Harriers do not have supersonic dog fighting capabilities nor are they able to carry the same heavy loads of ordnance as an F/A18 Super Hornet.
However, having a CATOBAR (Catapult Assisted Take Off Barrier Assisted Recovery) small aircraft carrier would be able to deploy multi-mission aircraft cable of providing air superiority as well as the ability to launch and sustain strike missions. With control of the skies the marines would be able to launch amphibious forces inland to include 1,800 men, eight M1A1 MBTs and supporting vehicles.
For approximately $16 Billion the Marine Corps could have 11 brand new hybrid CATOBAR/LHDs with more than 550 aircraft operating on board to support their mission while the navy would have their 10 carriers with a combined air wing of an additional 900 aircraft or more..
The cold hard reality is that in the 21st Century we have made some very bad decisions and even worse purchases that have hurt the safety of our nation and our allies. Taking this approach is a very simple and cost effective methodology of bringing back the global presence of our Navy's and Marine Corps ability to project air power in a region at a moments notice and have a Marine Expeditionary Unit accompany the task force.
The Simple Fact About the Michael Brown Shooting
Over the last six month this country has become even more divided not just between Democrats and Republican but now between Black and Whites.
Facts are that the average educated black person recognizes the facts pertaining to the death of Michael Brow:
Facts will show that Mr. Brown was engaged in robbing a store and then fled the scene.
The Robbery was reported and the police were on the look out for the suspect...Michael Brown!
Mr. Brown was pursued and in the process of being apprehended ignored police instructions.
Mr. Brown assaulted and tried to take away the officer's weapon,
Mr. Brown was killed during that process of being arrested.
Why any one would fail to recognize the recognize that Mr. Brown was killed not because he was black but because he tried to kill a police officer is disturbing.
The bottom line is that the officer in question did not wake up that morning and decide to kill a black kid. But Michael Brown did wake up and decide to go and rob a store!
As a result of Brown's criminal actions he ended up getting killed. I can't see anyone's outrage.. Mr. Brown victimized his own neighborhood and neighbors. Brown was not a doctor or a teacher he was a thug who pushed his limits and got killed in the process!
This is not an issue of black or white!!! It is an issue of a thug committing a crime who got killed after he tried to kill an officer trying to arrest him. End of story. No rioting is necessary, nor a need of further division of black and white an issue! In fact the matter can be simplified....Don't do the crime and evade being arrested in a manner whereby you threaten the life of an officer.. If you don't resist or endanger they life of others the police won't have to shoot you.

SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS
Am I the only person who finds it alarmingly concerning that our wounded
veterans are having to rely on private charitable organizations to supplement
the car and support they need after returning home wounded?
SHAME ON EVERY SENATOR, CONGRESSMAN AND MOST OF ALL, OUR PRESIDENT!!!!!
These brave young men and women signed a contract with our nation to serve, protect and defend our nation against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. It is a shame that the true enemy they are facing is our own government.
Our nation has a moral, ethical and above all else legal obligation to ensure that these men, women, and their families, receive the medical and emotional support they are DESERVE AND ARE ENTITLED and not have to rely upon support from private charitable organizations! I ASK, REALLY WITH ALL THE WASTEFUL GOVERNMENT SPENDING OF THIS ADMINISTRATION ARE WE THAT MORALLY BANKRUPT TO NOT TAKE CARE OF THESE VETERANS AND RELY ON CHARITY?
Charity I was taught begins at home and it is about time the charity stop with foreign aid when so many of our returning service men and women so desperately need our help! Let's right this wrong and demand better for our returning veterans! I ask all you to take five minutes and call your Senators and Congressmen and demand that these returning veterans be supported with the aid they need, deserve and entitled before our tax dollars aid some third world country or other senseless spending program!

VISAS AND UNEFFECTIVE GOVERNMENT
With all our nation's trillion's wasted on senseless government spending I ask when is the government ever going to start asking what are they funding and is funding that funding effective in solving the intended issues?
Tom Ridge announced today that twelve years after 9/11, and in light of the recent tragic events in Boston, that our government and law enforcement have no clue where tens of thousands of foreigners are herein the United States under the pretense of student visas and visas. In addition, Ridge and Congressional members want to know why FBI and DHS ignored documents presented to FBI agents in our embassy in Russia about the Tsarnaev family including both brothers as well as the mother!
Does this sound familar, did we not learn our lesson from the ignored intel that remained uninvestigated prior to 9/11!!! Truly uncomforting and most concerning!

24 YRS AFTER THE FALL OF THE BERLIN WALL ARE WE SAFER?
With the fall of the Iron Curtain and the "Evil Empire's demise" I can not help but wonder if the world is truly a safer? Our late President Ronald Reagan so committed to the demise of the former Soviet Union perhaps may have miss read who truly are enemies were and are. We built our armed forces to show we were willing to go to toe to toe with the Russians opposing their ideology but again I wonder were they ever a threat. The more I learn about the former Soviet Union the more I have learned that they like any other country had suffered horrible losses during WWII and wanted to insulate themselves from ever having to be invaded again and suffer such horrendous losses.
Before the fall of the Soviet Union only six nations had nuclear weapons, U.S., USSR, China, U.K. France and Israel. The Soviets knew of the insatiability in the world and kept order by refusing further nuclear proliferation. With the fall of the USSR we now have to worry about radical countries such as North Korea, Iran, Pakistan, India, and half a dozen other rogue nations daily trying to obtain nuclear weapons.
I love this country and I do not think any one on the planet can challenge me on that fact, but as an educated American I have the right to question our leaders and policies if I do not agree with them and do so in a peaceful unchallenged method, i.e. speak freely without worry about being arrested or detained. As an American I find myself questioning our foreign and domestic policies more and more. I wonder what right if any do we have to tell any country that the way they treat their citizens is wrong and that they need to change or we will change their ways for them? Is that sane? Do we not have enough problems here at home that are unresolved that need immediate attention before fixing the world of their problems?
I believe that any sovereign nation has the right to peacefully co-exist on this planet with the rest of the world's inhabitants as long as they are not invading or imposing their will on others. I believe that what happens within your borders is a matter of that nation's citizens and not that of the world and certainly not the United States. I believe that we should help our allies protect themselves when necessary but I do not believe that our nation should sacrifice our youth for the promotion of our beliefs to be forced upon others.
In the end we have repeatedly been kicked in the groin by nations calling us their friends while our perceived enemies have never invaded our country or committed an act of terrorism on our soil! I remind everyone that 9/11 was not the Russians but Saudis, Afghans, the recent bombing of the Boston Marathon Chechen Muslim extremist all people who the Soviets had problems with that we defended only to be kicked in the groin by the very people we helped, is that good foreign policy?
Too many of our brave young men and women have given so much to help these people on to be repaid as a nation with violence on our soil against the very citizens who helped these people!
The time has come to focus on rebuilding our country, its infrastructure and restoring its once mega manufacturing capabilities, while providing jobs to so many out of work. We need to return our troops from foreign soils who will never or understand our beliefs so long as their religion dictates their laws and culture! We as a nation need to round up the scourge that has infiltrated our nation and send them home every last one regardless of color, creed, religion, race if they have no intention to become citizens and live through assimilation in accordance with local, state and federal laws! Until these issues are addressed we will continue to bankrupt us as a nation while our citizens are killed by those who have moved here with the intentions of committing evil. The time is now to wake up and rebuild our nation to be the shining beacon we once were believed to be and not the laughing stock of the world soon to be bankrupt and over run from outsiders!
